Who Can Add an Hour to Their Life by Worrying?

Anxiety and worry run ramped in our world today. And certainly, our social media addictions haven’t helped much. We obsess about other people’s lives and what they think about us. What if people don’t like me? What if I don’t match up? What if I can’t pay my student loans? What if the world warms to the point of no return and self-destructs? What if?????  Can we see the spiral downward that leads to nowhere good?

Jesus asked this question of his disciples not because he didn’t know the answer, but because he wanted to redirect their hearts and minds toward God who delivered them from bondage, cared for them in the past, and provided just what they needed.

You see the enemy of this world wants us to worry as if there were no God, as if it were all up to us. Jesus wants us to trust that our heavenly Father knows just what need and will take care of us come what may.
