Pressing On

They say that marathon runners hit a wall at some point during their 26-mile race.  It’s that point when their whole body, mind, and strength says, “NOPE, we can go much further."  They must press on through the pain to win the prize for which they had spent months of training.  The same is true for us spiritually.  Challenges like this COVID-19 pandemic require us to push through the pain of being isolated for so long in order to win the prize that God has called us heavenward.  So, let’s forget about all that’s behind…all that’s been lost…all that’s been hard...and let’s press on! Together!

You can listen to last week's entire service (40 minutes) by clicking on http://www.caspres.org/media and looking for “Pressing On."  If you'd like to sing along, the weekly worship bulletins are located at http://www.caspres.org/weeklysundaybulletins.  And for online giving, please go to http://www.caspres.org/giving.

For this Sunday's worship service, we have the blessing of hearing from Rev. Aleida Jernigan (HR) and her experiences during COVID-19.  So, grab your coffee, your favorite comfy chair, and get ready to celebrate our Risen Lord together with glad and sincere hearts!  Don’t forget our ZOOM Fellowship time at 11:30am!
